Selkirk Haggis Hunt 2018

Selkirk, Market Place / Selkirk Hill, UK. 21.Jan.2018. 11th Selkirk Haggis Hunt:

The World Famous Selkirk Haggis Hunt, celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2017 and historical records have been found documenting a Hunt held in Selkirk as early as 2003. Over 340 followers braved the elements along with 20 dogs in search of the elusive rare prime Selkirk Haggis, good numbers where found on the Hill despite the recent poor weather.

Managed to cover the event with my regular Fujifilm X-T2 pair of bodies, and mounted with the regular Fujinon XF 50-140/2.8 and the nice compact Fujinon XF 10-24/4, all images captured in RAW format, and post process edit workflow thru CameraBits PhotoMechanic 5 to ingest and add metadata and captions, before uploading to news picture desk ftp servers.

The images selected for the blog have not been edited in Adobe Photoshop, I have been looking at and considering the option to add jpeg to my camera capture for news, as I currently do in sport, given the quality of the Fujifilm files I may post a few samples tomorrow.
